In college, I spent a lot of time between Orange County and Santa Barbara. I know that seems like a far distance to many, but it feels like these cities are right around the corner. Nowadays, I drive all over California photographing weddings and love trying new restaurants in new cities!
Lately, I have found myself in Culver City pretty often which is how I stumbled across Cafe Vida. It is not only at the top of my list for restaurants in Culver City, but it’s also in my top five all time favorites! This place is perfect for a casual meal during the day or a romantic one in the evening! If you don’t find yourself in Culver City you can visit their other locations in Pacific Palisades and El Segundo.
My favorite drink is their Watermelon Lemonade that is made fresh everyday! If you love tacos you must try their “Chile Rojo” Short Rib Tacos! You will want to order five servings after your first bite. Some of my other favorites include their Vida Burger, Cuban Style Grilled Chicken, and Chicken Mango and Avocado Salad minus the Avocado… I’m one of the few California natives that doesn’t like Avocado. 🙁 I wish I did!
Cafe Vida is located at 9755 Culver Blvd. in Culver City.
