Jesse & Alicia’s engagement was full of love & laughs. They chose to have their engagement at the Bacara where Jesse proposed a few months earlier. I absolutely love when couples choose such a significant place to have their engagement photos taken. Their open and honest love and care for one another is so obvious that it showed through their images.
Jesse & Alicia’s proposal story from the groom: “On our 2 year anniversary I planned a trip to Santa Barbara. We stayed at the Bacara Resort. She did not know; but I was going to propose. I went up a couple of weeks prior and planned the proposal. That weekend, we arrived to the room. Alicia began getting ready. I left a note with some flowers on the bed and I snuck out and went downstairs. I planned for Alicia to go on a scavenger hunt around the resort. I wrote Alicia a series of notes. On every note, there was a memory we shared from the past two years and directions on where to go next. the last note had the final memory up to that point. The last sentence read, “Remember when I proposed”. She looked up and saw me holding her ring in a box and the words, “Alicia, will you marry me” behind me. She said, “Yes” and it was the happiest day of my life.”
