Can never go wrong at Griffith Observatory! I absolutely adore this location. Great architecture with sweeping views of Los Angeles, lots of love, and a little pup Rico is the perfect combination for an engagement session!

Evelyn & Daniel’s engagement story told by Evelyn: Daniel had asked me months in advanced to take March 5, 2013 (which is our anniversary date) off from work, but he would not tell me why or what he had planned. Come March 5, I bugged him all morning to tell me what he thought I should wear and he told me to wear walking shoes and a t-shirt… while he wore something less casual. That alone seemed weird to me. 🙂 He finally told me where we were going 10 minutes away from our destination, Disneyland… my favorite place. He took me to California Adventure first, where we got on all the rides and had lunch. Looking back, Daniel got kind of quiet and didn’t want to eat much… as he was on our very first date. We then walked over to Disneyland park. I suggested going on my usual route and getting on Pirates of the Caribbean first. Daniel said he didn’t want to go there, he wanted to go to the castle, which was also rare because come on, who wants to go to the castle first?! I said fine fine lets go. He stopped in front of the castle and said all the best things a girl always wants to hear, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Once he showed me the ring, he told me it was his great grandmothers stone… which made it a million times more special to me. We did get to go to Pirates of the Caribbean right after but it was all a blur from then on.
