It only took two weeks into Allie’s two month move to San Diego for her to meet Spencer. They were introduced to one another through mutual friends and instantly hit it off. Shortly after, they went on their first date… Spencer planned the entire evening as a surprise for Allie! Want to know what’s even cuter than that? They still plan surprise dates for one another to this day! After eight years together, most of which was long distance, they finally tied the knot in Los Gatos. Allie and Spencer have proved that distance does in fact, make the heart grow fonder.

It is easy for the meaning of a wedding day to get lost through the hustle and bustle of it all, but this couldn’t be further from the truth for Allie and Spencer. They took every opportunity they had to have a moment alone and be present with one another- something that I highly recommend to all of my brides. My favorite memory from their wedding day was when they snuck away from the reception to have a private first dance.
