Greer first met Derek when she was only a toddler because he was friends with her older brother. As the years went by, Derek played baseball with Greer’s brother, but little did they know what the future held. It wasn’t until years later, when they were celebrating a friends birthday, that their relationship finally began.

Derek and Greer chose a location close to home in San Juan Capistrano so that they were able to include their pup, Decker. If you are on the fence about including your pup in your engagement session, I recommend that you do! San Juan Capistrano Open Space is one of my favorites because it has more to offer than just a wide open field and doesn’t require much walking to find a spot with beautiful California light!

This cutie is Decker! She is one of the sweetest pups I have ever had the honor of photographing.
